Public Mees MALVERN COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSAL TO CLOSE ROAD TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Closure) Regulations, 19ba, Notice is hereby given that the Malvern County Council, or the purpose of permitting the Motogard Bally 80 to conduct part of its International Rally, on Tuesday, September 16 1980, proposes to close the following roads to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder. Because of the relatively short duration of each closure, no alternative arrangements will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would normally use the road. Anv person objecting to the proposal is called upon to ledge notice of his objection and grounds thereof in writing before August 17, 1980, at ’the office of the council at Darfield. Roads proposed to be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic: —

(1) LAKE LYNDON AND HOMESTEAD ROADS from State Highway 73 at Lake Lyndon through io the junction of Peak Hill Road with Homestead Road. Time of closure—6.ls p.m. until 9.45 p.m. (2) SNOWDON RD through its full length. Time of closure —7.10 p.m. until 10.15 p.m. (3) PIG SADDLE AND WAIANIWANIWA RDS.
