Dam work delayed by appeals
Appeals against the granting of water rights to the Clyde dam site have restricted work there, according to the annual report of the Ministry of Works and Development. The legal proceedings mean that the issue of water rights has been delayed and appeals have not yet been heard.
Work is continuing on the creation of a sendee area at the dam site and also the. reconstruction of State . highways in the Clyde. Cromwell, and ( Lihdis. Pass areas. . ’. ,
