Toy library needs supervisor
The Toy Library for the Handicapped in Gloucester Street is haying difficulty finding a supervisor. In her annual report to the Toy Library Association, the chairman (Miss B. Goldsbrough) said that the present supervisor, Mrs Helen Bascand, wished to resign as supervisor. Consequently the executive committee and a special sub-committee had been forced to take “a long, hard look” at the library’s organisation. The answer had been to delegate various aspects of the work, but a coordinator - cum - administrator was still required to allow Mrs Bascand to continue working with the parents and children and in developing toys.
