Healing makes good start
PA Auckland Healing Industries, Ltd, has made a good start to the present financial year with sales for the- first four months 45 per cent ahead of the same period last year, according to the chairman (Mr H. A. Christensen) at the annual meeting. Mr Christensen also told the meeting that export sales for July were a record for one month' and were worth more than the total company exports five years ago. The chairman also said th ; rise in the price of petrol showed the wisdom of the company’s investment in bicycle manufacturers.
Mr Christensen told shareholders the bicycle factory had been recently expanded. He also said that the company had recently bought land in Christchurch on which a warehouse was: now being built.
