Luncoln narrowly beats Southbridge
Lincoln had a narrow win against Southbridge In the first division of the senior A grade in the Ellesmere Combined Sub-union’s rugby competitions on Saturday. Results were:—
Senior A.—Division I: Leeston 16, Kirwee 10: Lincoln 6, Southbridge 4. Division II: Peninsula 21, Darfield 3; Burnham 8, Sheffield 6.
Senior B.—Division I: Diamond Harbour 15, Lincoln 10: Prebbleton 18, Dunsandel 6. Division H: Walhora 10, West Melton .6; Irwell 31, United 6.
Senior reserve.—Division I: Prebbleton beat Bumham by default; Southbridge 13, Springston 8. Division II: Kirwee 18, Midlands 12; Darfield 18, Lincoln 7; Selwyn a bye. Under 21.—Peninsula 8, Darfleld 7; Sheffield 16, Kirwee 4; Burnham beat Dunsandel bv default.
. The Junior Advisory Board’s under-age finals resulted.— Under 18: Leeston-Irwell 17, Waihora-Peninsula 4. Under 16: Springston .17, Darfield 11. Under 14: Lincoln 16, IrwellLeeston 4.
