Garoline and husband separate

Princess Caroline and her husband, Mr Philippe Junot, a French businessman, were officially separated last week, a spokeswoman for the family has said.
They were, married on June 28, 1978, a marriage reported to have been opposed by ‘ her parents, Prince Rainier and Princess Grace.
The spokeswoman, Miss Madia Lacoste, said that ho; divorce proceedings had been initiated, for the tirin being. The couple are Roman Catholic. The decision came after a two-month period during which Mr Junot, aged 40, who is at present in Turkey on a business trip, did . not visit Monaco. where Princess Caroline, who is 23, has been staying. He was last in Monaco in May. During a gala.last week for the Red Cross at the Monaco Sporting Club, the presence of Princess Caroline alone at the family table . was noticed by many of those attending.
