No ski-ing at Turoa
PA Wellington Heavy snow falls again prevented any ski-ing yesterday in the Europa-FIS series at Turoa on Mount. Ruapehu. A high speed downhill race had been scheduled for acing and training this week, but four days of cold south-
erlies have delayed the programme. . i ’
Slower . speed skiers are due in Ohakune from Mount Hutt today and it is proposed to hold giant slalom and slalom races at Turoa on Monday ’ and Tuesday, with a downhill race on Wednesday or Thursday.
