Yacht seeks help
PA Whangarei A 12-metre yacht crewed by a Taurariga man, his wife and three children, aged nine, IB and 12, yesterday radioed for assistance after the boat’s motor seized off the Northland coast in rough seas. '•■.... Mr G. Faulkner sent out a P.A.N. emergency message requesting assistance for the
yacht, the Carinya, whiefi/ts on its way front Tauranga:,to Norfolk Island. (A signal is ?an aldrt not as urgent ,as an 5.0.5., but notifying trouble). On board Are his wife, Rita, and children Lisa, Miqhael and Tracy. s s r- The Whangarei police indicated last evening that radio contact had been arranged for 8 a.m. today.
