Motor Bodies expands
New Zealand Motor Bodies, Ltd, will acquire all the shares of the Dunedinbased private company Emslie Consilodated Industries, Ltd, by the issue of 100.000 100 c shares in NZMB — thereby increasing the capital to $2.1 million — with the balance in cash. This is a further move to rationalise the bus and coach manufacturing operations in New Zealand and, at the same time, provide the company with sales, service, and repair facilities in Auckland, Palmerston North, Wellington, and Christchurch, and with insulation materials and container work, the directors of *NZMB said. i '■ Mr Lex Ernslie will be joining the NZMB board as an executive director.
