PA Auckland The conductor of the Symphonia Of Auckland for the last 11 years, Jaun Matteucci, has said he has not yet been included in plans to form a new regional orchestra. The Symphonia foundation committee will recommend to a general meeting today that the Symphonia go into voluntary liquidation and that the Auckland Regional Orchestra be set up as soon as possible. The chairman of the Queen Elizabeth 11 Arts Courted (Mr Hamish Keith) said last evening that the council had paid the orchestra’s wages w'hich had been outstanding for a fortnight. The council was not in-

volved in immediately funding a similar orchestra. “We could not continue in this curious situation where Auckland had an orchestra which Auckland local bodies refused to have anything to do with,” he said.
