PA Auckland When “Miss New Zealand,” Delyse Nottle, - walked out of customs at Auckland Airport yesterday, she was greeted by applause, photographers, and family bear-hugs and tears. Miss Nottle, aged 20, a teacher trainee and model, of Tauranga, said she thought she might have had a chance of being in the second finals after winning the “Miss Photogenic” title during the week before the “Miss Universe” contest. Instead, she took third place behind “Miss Uni-
verse,” Shawn Weatherly, aged 20, of the United States, and the secondplaice‘getter, Linda Gallagher, of Scotland. > Miss Nottle wort' a trophy, $l5OO, cosmetics, and clothes. She said one of the best things during her month in Korea was the kindness she received from the Korean people. Although she is not sure what will be expected of her during her “reign,” Miss Nottle said she would like to continue her modelling career until the end of the year and then think about returning to teaching. t
