These stations are situated on the boundary of the Urewera National Park and excellent boating, fishing and hunting facilities are close at hand. The work is varied and interesting and involves controlling a small team of electricians working on the maintenance of generators and auxiliary plant, switchgear, village reticulation, domestic wiring and appliances. Qualifications desired: An Electrical Trade Apprenticeship and Registration as an Electrician, together with experience in the maintenance of large rotating plant or switchgear.
