National Park administration
Sir, — The intended
National Parks Bill will pass over to Wellington the seven South Island national parks, out of 10 such parks in New Zealand. It appears that they want, not only our electricity, labour, and industry, but also the power to control those places where we seek recreation. I think that this would make a good election issue in view of the South Island Movement. — Yours, etc., VIRGINIA CASUTT. July 10, 1980.
