Landfill unpopular
About 1500 objections have been received against the proposed Waimairi ! coastal rubbish landfill. Objections closed yesterday after the Waimairi County Council had extended the objection period by two weeks. A date has yet to be set for the council’s hearing of the requirement for the area to be designated for a landfill as part of the Christ-
