31 killed in bus crash
NZPA-Reuter Bangkok A tour bus collided with a timber truck in north-east-ern Thailand on Saturday killing 31 people and injuring 15 others. It was the third main highway accident this week. The Bangkok-bound bus hit the parked timber truck during a heavy thunderstorm on the Khukhan-Sangkhla highway in Si Saket Province, about 460 km north-east of Bangkok. The coach driver and 30 passengers died instantly when the truck’s load of logs pierced the coach’s windshield.
