Iceland bans film
NZPA-Reuter Reykjavik Iceland’s radio and television board has voted not to show the controversial film “Death of a Princess.” After the six-to-one vote a spokesman for the State board said it was concerned about the security of Icelandic National Airlines personnel flying Muslim pilgrims from 'lndonesia and North
Africa to the holy city of Mecca, in Saudi Arabia. The British-made film depicts the execution of an adulterous Saudi princess, i and its showing in several i Western nations has angered I Saudi leaders, who said it ■ slandered Islam. The board’s secretary said the decision did not ban the . film permanently.
