HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF ESTIMATES AND INTENTION IO MAxvL AISD LEVY RATES PURSUANT to the provisions of Section 121 of tne Local Government Act 1974, public notice is hereby given that tne Heatncote County Council has approved estimates of income and exp naiiure for the period commencing on the Ist day ot April, 193 u, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1981, and that the estimates are available tor public inspection during ordinary office hours at the Council’s offices, 66 Colombo street, Christchurch. The total rateable capital value of the property on the Valuation Roll is 5122,828,350. Pursuant to Section 52 of the Rating Act 1967 and tiie Local Government Act 1974, further notice is herebygiven that it is the intention of the Heathcote County Council, at an Ordinary Meeting to be held on the 26th day of June, 1980, at the Council Chambers, 66 Colombo Street, Christchurch 2, at the hour of 7.30 p.m., tomake the following rates for the year commencing on the first day of April, 1980, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1981. 1. GENERAL RATE: Under the provisions of Section 136 of tne Local Government Act 1974, a General Rate of .47389 of a cent in the $ on the capital value of all rateable property in the County of Heathcvite. 2. WATER RATES: Under the provisions of Section 143 and 166 of the Local Government Act 1974, and pursuant to the provisions of Part 33 of the Heathcote County Bylaw No. 1, 1932, a rate of ,119134 of a cent in the $ on the capital value of all rateable propertyin the County of Heathcote, provided that where such rate would produce less than six dollars, a rate of six dollars be made and levied, such rates shall be reduced to one half in respect of all lands and dwellinghouses to which water can be but is not supplied, situated within one hundred metres from any part of the waterworks.

EXTRAORDINARY SUPPLY — PER METER: A uniform charge over the County as follows: Industrial . „ 10.0 cents per 1000 litres Growers 7.5 cents per 1000 litres Commercial 10.0 cents per 1000 litres 3. OTHER AUTHORITIES RATES: The Council will collect such other rates or charges as may be levied over the whole or any part of the County for and on behalf of the following authorities: Canterbury Museum Trust Board Christchurch Drainage Board Christchurch Town Hall Board Christchurch Transport Board North Canterbury Catchment Board. The said rates to be due and payable to the Heathcote County Treasurer on the 13tn day of August, 1980, at the Heathcote County Offices,. 66 Colombo Street, Christchurch. The Valuation Rolls and rate records for the County of Heathcote and a full copy of the above estimates are open for inspection by ratepayers during office hours at the Council office. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 70 of the Rating Act 1967, a rebate of 5 per cent shall be - allowed on County General and Water Rates paid on or before the 12th dav of September, 1980. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 71 of the Rating Act 1967, an additional charge of 10 per cent shall be added to all rates unpaid at the expiration of six months from the assessment thereof.
