Fundamental changes could eventuate, e.g. more direct involvement Jn stevedoring, chartering of ships, joint ventures with other shippers or importers. Certainly there will be extensive negotiation with a diversity of organisations. Visits to plants and ports throughout New Zealand will be regular together with occasional overseas travel. The position calls for a very able executive with abundant initiative, alertness to change, skill in relating to people at-all levels, and appropriate experience in one or more of shipping, transport, distribution or international trade.
