PROPOSED EXPENDITURE: Works and Services 557,525 Administration $9,635 Vehicle Replacement 55.000 $72,160 Estimated Sundry Receipts .. $2,000 BALANCE REQUIRED TO BE RAISED BY RATES .. $70,160 PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Board at a meeting to be held in the Secretary’s Office, 5 Good Street, Rangiora, on Monday, May 26, to make and levy the undermentioned rates. (1) In respect of all lands with a value of $lOO per hectare or under, $1.21 per ha. (2) In respect of all lands with a value exceeding $lOO but not exceeding $l5O per hectare, $1.37 per ha. (3) In respect of all lands with a value exceeding $l5O but not exceeding $2OO per hectare, $1.49 per ha. (4) In respect of all lands with a value exceeding $2OO per hectare, $1.60 per ha. (5) In respect of all lands of . whatever area or value on which a dwelling is erected an additional charge of $4.40 shall be levied. (6) In respect of all special rates an increase of 33 1/3 p.c. on the rates levied for the year ended March 31, 1980. BULLER COUNTY COUNCIL RUBBISH COLLECTION SERVICE RUBBISH BAG DEIVERY PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to all ratepayers and residents within the area currently covered by the Buller County Council Rubbish collection service, i.e.:— All households and business premises in the township of Oman, - Carters Beach, Brougham Street, Easterns Road, Orowaiti, Waimangaroa, Birthfield, Granity. Hector, Ngakawau and Mokihinui and all households within 100 metres of the main road between Tauranga Bay and Mokihinui River bridge:—

THAT all such households and premises will, for the period commencing June 1, 1980, and ending March 31, 1981. be delivered THE SAME NUMBER OF RUBBISH BAGS AS WAS DELIVERED FOR THE 1979,1980 SERVICE YEAR. NOTE— There will be no cards circulated to householders this year to ascertain coming year’s bag requirements. Deliveries of 50, 25 or nil bags will be made in accordance with deliveries made for previous period, unless householders notify the council office otherwise on or before Mav 12, 1980. The council has set the following charges for the rubbish collection service for the year ending March 31, 1981:— For 50 bag lots delivered, $2l. For 25 bags lots delivered $l7. For nil bags delivered,- $ll. With additional bags purchased from the Council Office at 25c each in minimum lots of 10; whilst the charge for bags sold to persons not already on the delivery schedule will be 70c each in minimum lots of 10.
