INDUSTRIES DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION INDUSTRY STUDIES — NEW ZEALAND SHIPBUILDING AND REPAIR INDUSTRY — NEW ZEALAND PLASTICS INDUSTRY 1. The attention of interested parties is drawn to Industries Development Commission Notices 1980/2 and 1980/3 appearing in the New Zealand Gazette dated May 8, 1980. 2. Shipbuilding and Repair Industry. Industries Development Commission Notice 1980/2 gives notice that the Commission is inviting submissions on the above industry (which should be received by June 20, 1980) prior to preparing a draft development report which will provide the basis for a public hearing commencing on August 26, 1980. 3. Plastics Industry. Industries Development Commission Notice 1980/3 advises interested parties of the detailed timetable for* the receipt of submissions and for the public hearings on nominated sectors of the plastics industry, which are to commence on June 3, 1980, and continue until mid August, 1980. 4. Copies of Notices 1980/2 and 1980/3 may be obtained from the Commission’s office (telephone Wellington 850-469) or seen at offices Customs Department or the Department of Trade and Industry. The closing date has been extended by one week. THE COUNCIL HEREBY ADVISES that submissions and objections concerning the above changes have been deposited at the County Office, corner Jeffreys and Clyde Roads , and are available for inspection during normal office hours. Any body or person affected or representing some relevant aspect of the public interest may support or oppose any of the objections or submissions received. Notices in support of or opposition to objections or submissions shall be in writing on Form D as prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1978 or to the like effect and shall be lodged at the office of the Council not later than 4 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 1980. Every person or body giving such notice shall within 14 days after giving notice to the Council, serve a copy of the notice on any objector affected.
