Designer of Q.E. II dies

Mr Bill Lovell-Smith, the consulting engineer who designed Queen ElizabethII Park, died at his home in Sumner yesterday. He was 56. Mr Lovell-Smith, of the j surveying, engineering, and planning firm of Davie, Lovell-Smith and Partners, was bom in Christchurch and was educated at Christchurch Boys’ High School.
