Golf selectors unchanged
The Canterbury golf selection panel remains unchanged from last year. Messrs B. V. Glubb, H- V. Reid and M. J. McNally were reappointed to the panel at a meeting of the Canterbury Golf Association’s management committee last evening. However, there has been a change of convener. Mr McNally, who has been convener for the last 10 years, was beaten by Mr Glubb in a ballot. Mr J. T. Gregg was elected president of the association and, In a ballot, Mr D. N. Cresswell was elected vice-president. Mr M. J. C. Robinson was the unsuccessful candidate.
