‘Martial law to go'
The South Korean Prime Minister (Mr Shin Hyun Hwak) has said that South Korea will lift martial law before a presidential election which will- be held early next year. Thousands of university students clashed with riot police across the country last week calling for the repeal of martial law, decreed after President Park Chung Hee was assassinated last October. — Seoul.
