NZPA Sydney Hartogen Energy, Ltd, plans to drill up to six wells to determine the commercial significance of its “surprise oil find in the Surat Basin of Queensland. A production test on the Kincorra No. 18 discovery well showed an oil flow rate of 430 barrels a day. “We are much encouraged by the test, which was better than we had expected, but several more wells will have to be drilled before, we know the commercial significance of the oil field, said the chairman (Mr P.
