A total of 4,576,574 shares was traded on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, including 887,114 special sales. The total was 3,863,624 more than on Friday. Industrial shares totalled 4,574,974 (711,750 on Friday), and 1600 mining and oil shares were traded (1200 on Friday). A total of 129 issues was traded.
