Book for mothers
Your mother will enjoy reading this book, written by children for mothers everywhere: “TO MUM.” Edited by Richard and Helen Exley, published by Angus and Robertson. The book contains contributions from nearly 5000 school children from coun-
tries all over the world, including New Zealand. In poems, pictures and stories the reader has a glimpse of nearly 5000 different mothers. Not all of them are flattering, but most are good for a laugh. However, the mothers of the world may not have time to read the book if they are all like the mother
of this eight-year-old boy. who writes: “The things my mother does for me are uncountible, she has been helping me for hours on end since I was born.” “To Mum” would be an ideal gift for Mother’s Day, and you will have to make sure that your mother gets time to read it if you buy it for her.
