(m) The age limit for Directors shall be 70 years. Directors attaining such an age will retire at the next Annual General Meeting of the Society. EXPLANATORY NOTE: The amendment to Rule 3 records the present registered office of the Society. The amendments to Rules 6 and 7 allow the Society to accept as members people who are not resident in New Zealand. The amendments to Rule 17 achieve the following results:— (i) Certain benefits payable to members are increased to take into account the continued increases in health care costs. (ii) Hie restriction under Rule 17 (a) (i) to no more than two operations per year has been deleted. (iii) The restriction under Rule 17 (a) (ii) to no more than two operations per year Is to be dropped and the benefit payable increased. (iv) Rule 17 (a) (ix) (relating to oral surgery) is to be amended so that referral from a doctor is no longer required, and the type of cover offered is clarified.
