Film library staff to strike
The staff of the National Film Library at Wellington will-strike on April 28 in a dispute about salaries and Staffing policy. ’ They will be supported by a work-to-rule by the staff of the Christchurch and Auckland offices from April 28 The library supplies films mainly used by schools, teachers’ colleges, and other institutions. The staff taking industrial action are members of the Public Service Association. They have negotiated with the State Services Commission about staff ceilings and regradings for Several weeks; They threatened action last month unless the commission took “positive action” on their claims.
