PERSPIRATION IMAGINATION... FERTILISATION DESPERATION... ACCLAMATION Inspiration comes to everyone sometime in their lives, and perspiration to us all (or most of us) sooner or later, particularly if you've had the urge to make a garden or do up the old one. That takes a lot of perspiration, but you wouldn't be doing it if it was'nt for your imagination or perhaps your wife. Anyway about the time you picked up your shovel, you had a picture in your mind's eye of a garden full of choice, healthy, top quality specimens, and each drop that fell from your sweating brow on to the upturned soil became fertilisation for your imagination, and you enjoyed every minute of it. You've turned the last sod and everything is ready for planting, your wife is excited, and you've become full of anticipation... but not for long.. . You've worn down your shoes, and your feet, and your patience, and now its turned to desperation. You still haven't found those high health, "Value for Money" shrubs you saw in your mind's eye . . . And then:—ACCLAMATION someone says "Come on out to 'CAMSIDE'—they know their shrubs, they've grown up with them." Off you trot—on foot, horse, bike, or just plain motor car... to Woodend. - .Any way you can. It's worth it. - - You've never seen such good plants... just waiting for YOU to take home and plant in YOUR garden. That look is back in your wife's eye again. You load up your bike, or your horse, or your car, or carry one if you're on foot, and off you go home and plant them. With your wife's delighted exclamation ringing in your ears you plant the last one and stand back to watch them grow!I! Gibbs Drive, WOODEND.
