U.K. pulls out envoy from Iran
NZPA-Reuter Teheran Britain yesterday recalled its Ambassador to Teheran, and the British Embassy advised its nationals to leave Iran unless they had pressing reasons to remain. Sir John Graham, the ambassador left! Teheran yesterday, and an embassy; spokesman said there would be a big reduction in diplomatic staff from, today. : h v ; An embassy statement to British residents said: “The Embassy will no longer be able to afford you consular assistance and protection, and those whose business permits them to leave should now do so.”
