These establishments generate turnover in excess of $7,000,000 per annum. The successful candidate will be expected to promote all aspects of the Trust operation including accommodation, liquor sales, traditional hotel ; dining and fast food outlets. The person, must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and be. capable of dealing with top management in the travel industry. The Trust’s Head Office is situated in Oamaru, but the successful candidate must be prepared to undertake some travel. A remuneration package commensurate with the responsibility of the position will be negotiated with the successful candidate. WS26 PUKETIRO CENTRE PORIRUA THIS NEW CENTRE is to provide assessment, management and support for children , and their families, for a wide range of development, social, emotional and intellectual disorders. It will be the base for the Board’s services for the intellectually handicapped of all ages in the region, and will provide the Porirua/West Coast area services for developmental disorders in children. Staff at Puketiro will have representation from a number of disciplines in medicine, nursing, psychology, and associated therapies, including audiology. The Centre is located on Kenepuru Drive, close to Kenepuru and Pprirua Hospitals and adjacent to Campbell House Workshop and Kapi Mana School. Applications are invited for the following positions: CHILD PSYCHOTHERAPIST DUTIES: The Child Psychotherapist will work in close co-operation with other therapists in the multi-disciplinary team at Puketiro, to provide diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic programmes for infants, children and adolescents attending the Centre. QUALIFICATIONS: A basic qualification in occupational therapy, nursing or teaching, or an appropriate University Degree in psychology, . social services Or education, plus a post-graduate Diploma in Child Psychotherapy of the University of Otago. SALARY: According to qualifications and experience. SPEECH THERAPIST : DUTIES: The Speech Therapist will plan and supervise the speech therapy services based at Puketiro, in close liaison with other multidisciplinary staff at the Centre. QUALIFICATIONS: N.Z. Certificate in . Speech Therapy, or equivalent or a higher qualification, with at least three years post-graduate work experience, preferably some experience with children or adults in a rehabilitation or assessment unit. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team setting is essential. SALARY: In the range $8967-$12,009 per annum.
