Cost of living talks deferred

PA Wellington The State and private sector unions’ case for a cost-of-living adjustment would be discussed again on Thursday afternoon, said the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) yesterday. The unions put their submissions to Mr Muldoon last Friday and a meeting was planned for tomorrow morning. On Thursday morning the Federation of Labour and the Employers’ Federation are due to meet the Government for talks on a broad wages policy.
