Intruder assaults nurse

A young nurse was assaulted by a 'fully clothed man -while she was having a shower at the Christchurch Hospital last evening. The police said that the man had walked into the shower cubicle about 9 p.m., pushed the nurse over, and assaulted her. Detectives were still trying late last evening to

establish the motive for the attack. It was not known whether the ..nurse, who suffered minor injuries and shock, had been indecently assaulted or raped. Her attacker escaped through a rear entrance to the hospital near the junction of Rolleston Avenue and Cambridge Terrace, and was still at large late last, evening in spite of
