Government securities
PA Wellington The Reserve Bank of New Zealand reports that sales of Government securities reported by specialised dealers, for the Week to April 3, comprised 47 transactions, totalling $52,680,820. Of this total, 27 transactions totalling $50,060,000-, involved Treasury bills. The weighted average yield for Treasury bill sales was 10,396 per cent. Sales of Government stock totalled $2,620,820 from 20 transactions. The weighted average yield for stocks rhaturing under two years was 13.1 per cent: from two to five years 12.946 per cent: and over five years 13.414 per cent. The transactions do not include those with the Reserve Bank.
