A young Israeli boy, Yoav Gaet, aged three, sits on his mother’s lap in a hospital room in Haifa where he is recovering from wounds he suffered during an attack by Palestinian guerrillas on a nursery at a kibbutz at Misgav Amm. Three Israelis died in the raid. The five guerrillas held the nursery for nine hours and were then all killed when Israeli troops stormed the building.
