Accident victims improve
The condition of two men still in the Ashburton Hospital as a result of Sunday’s car collision just north of Rakaia, which resulted in three deaths, had improved yesterday. Graeme Robert Morris, of 41 Mountain View Road, Timaru, was listed as satisfactory. Mr Morris’s wife and two children were killed in the crash. The sole occupant of the other vehicle, Hugh Donald Munroe, of Temuka, was said to be “progressing.” His discharge from hospital is expected soon.
