County to pay levy to museum
An additional Canterbury Museum Trust Board levy will be met by the Cheviot County Council. The board asked the council for $4O to help meet, the shortfall between the income of rates and the museum’s etsimated expenditure. The County Chairman (Mr R. G. Anderson) said that the council should nqtj, agree in principle to pay the'levy. He said the council A .had tried hard to get the boat'd to “look at its finances.” Cr N. M.
