Censure for Minister?
PA Wellington A letter seeking the censure of the Minister of Education (Mr Wellington) has been sent to the Prime Minister (Mr. Muldoon) by the national executive of the University Students’ Association. It was sent because or a comment by Mr Wellington on April 10 that he would not talk to the association until it elected a new president. The letter asks Mr Mul-
doon to take urgent steps to bring Mr Wellington “into line with his responsibilities and withdraw his immature and petty, demand.” Questioned about the letter at a news conference last evening, Mr Muldoon said he had not seen it. “If it is couched in their normal language and having regard to the fact they have r’veri if to the press before I have seen it, it will probably go into the wastepaper basket,” Mr Muldoon said.
