Ward drainage poll
Part of the Waimairi County’s Styx Ward will remain outside the Cnri'-'-church Drainage Board arcA poll organised by the council resulted yesterday in eight, electors voting to retain the status quo and six voting to enter the Drainage Board’s responsibility. Seventy-seven residents and ratepayers in the area, which is north of Chaney’s Corner and bounded by the Main North Road and the railway line, were eligible to vote in the poll.
