Easier trend continuing
The easier trend on the New Zealand sharemarket continued yesterday. Although there were three rises for every four falls, the rises were mainly by second-line stocks, but market leaders were prevalent among the falls—N.Z. Forest, N.Z. Insurance, Feltex, Rothmans, Challenge, and A. M. Bisley being just a few to catch the eye. The N.Z.U.C. index lost 1.55 points to come back to 398.75, the level reached before Easter
