Two shot in Turkey
NZPA-Reuter Ankara A district public prosecutor was shot dead and a senior Government official was shot and seriously wounded yesterday as political violence continued to sweep Turkey. The State radio has said the prosecutor was shot on his way to work in the town
of Niksar in the central Anatolian province of Tokat, northern Turkey. The gunman was later caught. The police have said Mr Bulent Ozturkmen, Deputy Under-Secretary of the Trade Ministry, was shot in his of-? ficial car in central Ankara on his way [to the Ministry.
