Announcers return
Two former Radio Avon personalities will rejoin the station. ' A former breakfast programme announcer, Wayne Douglas, who was recently voted as one of New Zealand’s most outstanding broadcasting personalities in a Mobil Radio Award, will return to Radio Avon at the end of this month.
He has been working for station IZD in Tauranga. The breakfast programme duo of Morrie Shanahan and Heather Eggleton has resigned from station 3ZM to join Radio Avon. Mr Shanahan- is a former Radio Avon announcer and will rejoin as programme director. Miss Eggleton will join the station's sales staff.
