PA Auckland; The Auckland heavy-■ weight, Rory Barrett, has| made the Olympic | weightlifting qualifying standard in the 100 kg class. ; Competing in a special qualifying contest, Barrett] totalled 3371-kgs, the stan-, dard requirement set by the] selectors. i This was an improvement] of l;kgs on an earlier unsuccessful attempt last week. Barrett’s total gives him a world ranking of 15, an improvement of vie places on his previous best.
