The Reserve Bank of New’ Zealand exchange rate index fell 0.5 to 96.2 in March. The index, which measures the value of the New Zealand dollar in terms of a basket of currencies of New' Zealand’s main trading part r ners, had a base of 100.0 at the end of June, 1979. It stood at 96.7 at the end of February.
