Brushed denim is good for everyday clothes at $3.99 a metre, 115 cm wide; suede cloth in blue, cherry, burgundy and brown from $8.50 to $10.50 a metre, 150 cm wide; stretch knit corduroy made from tricot and polyester retails at $9.99 for a metre. 150 cm wide;

Children grow out of their clothes fast and vi-. yella is an expensive fabric to use for a dress that will be short-lived, but a new arrival is cashmilon wool challis which is. very suitable at. $6.99 a metre, 115 cm-wide. The challis is a blend of acrylic and wool and comes in a variety of floral and geometric designs.. For pyjamas, brushed cotton winceyette is a good buy at .between $1.50 and $2.50 a metre, 115 cm wide. Dressing gown fabrics include the 100 per cent cotton poodle-cloth at $10.50 for a metre, 140 cm wide; Motleton at $5 for a metre, 140 cm wide, and velour velva at $7.50 for a metre, 140 cm wide.
