Man jailed for theft of petrol
PA Wellington A tanker driver who stole 47,230 litres of petrol. valued at 815,099, was jailed for 18 months when he appeared for sentence before Mr Justice O’Regan in the Supreme Court at Wellington. Anthonv Taana Takiva White, aged 40, had been found guilty by a jury on 19 charges of theft as a servant. The offences had been committed over a six-month period last year, his Honour said. __ -
