No change of venue
PA Auckland An application by Brian Ronald McDonald, aged 24, to have his trial venue changed from Auckland to Wellington has been rejected by the High Court in Auckland. McDonald has been charged with the murder of Margaret Bell outside the Mainstreet Cabaret in Queen Street, on July 1 last.
