JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible to the Secretary. Electric Power Supply for the safe, smooth, continuous and economical operation of the Rarotonga diesel power plant of which he will be in charge. QUALIFICATIONS and experience: Applicants should have B.Sc. in mechanical engineering with a strong background in automatic control, heat transfer, fluid mechanics and marine diesel engines plus substantial administrative experience in operating a thermal power plant or the equivalent on an economical basis. ■GENERAL TERMS OF SERVICE: Appointment will be made under the Cook. Islands/New Zealand Manpower Aid Scheme and will be for a term of two years. Return fares from place of recruitment to Rarotonga, for appointee and family will be paid together with reasonable removal expenses for personal effects.
