C.B.H.S. top in yachting
Christchurch Boys’ High School won the Rotary Trophy al the Christchurch secondary schools yachting regatta at the Estuary. The inter-schools title is decided from the top five placings bv each school. More than 120 boats took part in 10 classes, the racing behind held in moderate easterly conditions. Abbreviations used in results are: C.H.S. (Cashmere), H.H.S. (Hillmorton), L.H.S. (Linwood), C.C. ,Christ’s College). S.BiH.S. (Shirley Bovs’), B.H.S. (Burnside), P.H.S. (Papanui), A.H.S.
