David Jones down 3.3 p.c.
NZPA Sydney David Jones, Ltd, which has been ailing in recent years, continued its slide in the latest half-year to January 26 with a 3.3 per cent in net profit to sAust4.lM. Australian sales fell 3.5 per cent to $193.4M, but United States turnover was up a healthy 22.4 per cent to 575.2. M in the’ previous half-year. ■ : An unchanged interim dividend of 4c a -share will.be paid on May 7. '
